Imprinted and stencilled paving is a method of laying driveways which combines the
most up to date concrete technology with the skills of pattern imprinting. This
gives your drive or patio the advantages of a continuous, stable and exceptionally
strong coloured surface which is then pattern imprinted to create a stunning three
dimensional effect.
Your Options
Realistically there are only two options for you. (ignoring plain drab concrete,
tarmacadam, shingle, gravel etc)
BLOCK PAVING -- Looks good at first but when it,s a few years old it gets
weeds,dips,the blocks come loose and they fade.
PATTERN IMPRINTED CONCRETE - When laid by Shropshire Concrete UK Ltd it will
hold its looks for many years.It will not get weeds as it is simply one slab of
reinforced concrete laid with an imprinted pattern on top.It will not fade as both
the colour and seal are UV resistant

Caring for your New Driveway
While PATTERN IMPRINTED CONCRETE will give you many years of trouble free service,
with a little care and attention you can increase its life and appearance by taking
note of the following DO's and DON'TS.
- DON'T use chlorine type shampoos on the paving
- DON'T use salt during winter months to thaw surface ice
- DON'T use chemical concrete cleaners on the surface
- DON'T worry about white salts appearing on the surface. It is a chemical leeching
called efflorescence and is present to a degree in all concrete and brickwork. Though
initially unsightly it will fade.<
- DO contact us for advice. We are the experts; not your friend, neighbour or DIY
Store.
- DO wipe any spills of oil, petrol, or solvent up immediately
- DO contact us between 12-18 months to have your paving resealed. It will enhance
its appearance and minimise surface dusting, thereby increasing its life.
